Sanur Beach is well known for the very large colorful kites being flown and the Juking fishing boats resting on the sand. Sanur beach is a coral sand beach with an offshore reef which creates a very safe swimming beach for children. Along the beach is a paved bike/walking path from which you can explore the many market stalls and beachfront restaurants. Beach loungers are available all along the beach for a very modest daily rental.
Five minutes walk from the villas is the main road ‘Jalan Danau Tamblingan’. This is the main thoroughfare through downtown Sanur offering an even greater choice of Culinary Delights, Cooling Cocktails and upmarket shopping.
Sanur operates at a slower pace than the more commonly known south-west location of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak. Trading hours in Sanur are generally 10am to 10pm with a few exceptions during peak season and religious events. Located only 25-minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, Sanur is a destination perfectly suited to young families and those seeking a slower paced and stress free Bali experience.
